Danny

People ask me why I picked Danny and I would love to say his show potential but I cant. It was just something that made me loved him from the moment I saw him and I never stopped. At six weeks he had an air of confidence about him and he would trot about with this look at me attitude and the most adorable head and eyes. I decided then I wanted him but he was already spoken for but I manage to persuaded Doreen to sell him to me. My next problem was convincing my husband Stuart I eventually told him that Doreen wanted to give him to me as a present and Stuart finally gave in. At eight weeks old Danny came to stay and I paid Doreen on a weekly basis, Stuart never knew anything until I told him a couple of years later.Danny was a typical pup doing the usual chewing and running about like a clown but he was nightmare at eating so fussy. He only ate the bare minimal and I think that had a huge effect on him being such a slow maturer. His eating habits only improved when I discovered Pizza Hut but it was't a very healthy so I changed him to the Barf diet. He is absolute pleasure to live with, he loves going out his walks with Stuart every day and swimming at the hydro therapy pool twice a week. Danny is very loyal to me he was constantly by my side through my treatment for breast cancer and is my faithful companion at dog shows. He is also very loyal to his mother Tay who came to live with us after Doreen passing away. They are both very spoilt and love to sit on the couch even though Stuart keeps telling them to get off but because of their loving natures they seems to get away with it. We live in a cul de sac with lots of kids and dogs coming in & out and Danny & Tay just fit in perfectly to our lifestyle.

I will continue to show Danny for as long as he wants to, I know I wont ever have another Danny, he's definitely a once in a lifetime dog.
